Our current tasting room hours/Primitive house parties are limited to the second and fourth Friday (5-9pm) & Saturday (noon-10pm) of each month, as well as additional popups when time allows. Our next party will be held on Friday, April 5th, 5-10pm. We’ll be open the following week on Wednesday, April 10th for a special CBC Week koelschip filling from 5-10pm. The weekend following this event is our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY! April 12-14th. Check our social media for times and updates. Please see our Cask Pours section to learn about what beers are available to enjoy by the glass or pitcher. We hope to see you all here and exchange passion! Primitive Beer is Colorado's first exclusively spontaneous, barrel-fermented beer blendery. Inspired by centuries-old Belgian brewing techniques and a flair for the modern, we are excited to release blends that reflect our passion for funky yet balanced flavor profiles emphasizing Colorado ingredients. We package our beers, purposefully still (lacking carbonation), in bag-in-box to satiate your cravings between our bi-monthly openings. In addition to paying homage to our Belgian contemporaries and accentuating the wine-like qualities of our beer, the box is a perfect package for taking on travels, outdoor adventures, or continually sampling from your fridge without risk of oxidation and staling. We are a pack of professional beer enthusiasts obsessed with spontaneous fermentations and the magical way beer can showcase hyperlocal flavors. In our "real lives", the good looking bloke in the center daylights as a lawyer while the brains of our operation spends her time managing Odd13 Brewing’s taproom and the Andy Samberg doppelgänger gets weird with it as Head of Blending, Special Projects, & Barrel Aging (I know, verbose position title) at 4 Noses Brewing. In the coming months, we are excited to share our story, the beers we blend, and a bit about the friends who have made this adventure possible!
